Does anyone have fox 2.5 elite series coilovers installed on their truck(2-3inch) with 2.5inch front lift?
I just installed them on my truck. Bought them used and the guy said they are set for 2.5 inch of lift at front.
After installing them they lifted the front 4 inches. Exposed threads on both coilovers is 1.5 inches. Ended up taking them off because even with aftermarket control arms the angles were extreme.
Now i have clunk on passerger side cv axle. Probably circlip popped out due to moving it furthur out to install coilover

I have them installed and they gave 3” up front. I need to take a measurement but it looks like the preload is tighter on yours than mine from the picture. Turn the top black nut clockwise and it’ll lower the front

Tried adjusting the preload but the adjuster ring doesn't even budge. I was able to put one spring comprssor arm to take some tension off the ring but still not turning. using a 5/16 punch. Is it suppose to be that tight? I m waiting on another type of spring compressor and adjusting tool.
