Font size on screen

I have a 8.4" non nav system. Is it possible to vertically enlarge the screen? How about enlarging the font size on the screen when using a nav app such as Waze? On my wife's vehicle, it has the same size screen, but when a Waze notification pops up, it is much larger than the system on my Ram. Also, the fonts are larger on all of the apps. I tried to move the bottom menu bar, but it appears to be impossible. I have gone into the Waze app to try and change the font settings, but that was a no go. Thanks for any help!
