Floor Storage Lock

Looking for a cheaper alternative for the floor storage lock kit - Mopar #82211653. I know I've seen less expensive locks somewhere but, I can't recall where. Thanks in advance for any help.

Idk man. 4 screws and it's removed. May as well not even lock it with that imo.

Thanks for the quick replies. I guess I should have mentioned my truck is a 2023 Ram 1500. The locks I'm seeking look exactly like the ones in the Mopar #82211653 only, about half the price.

Nothing I see anywhere for just the locking replacement latches for less than $129. Probably patented, so nobody else can make one. Every other option I see is a door.

You probably need to pull an original latch, and see if measurements work, as in thickness of door, and depth of the latch itself.

I was just curious, as I have tried to fit tons of things in there, and it's always "just too short".
Also I think the one I linked might be plastic.
If you search for "steel locking slam latches" you seem to get some good results.

I don't think I would go with the ones Darksteel recommended, whether they are plastic, or steel. Those "locks" could be opened with a screwdriver. His search idea is good though.
