Fixed Running Boards 2024 RAM Big Horn Crew Cab

Trying to install SMANOW Running Boards on my 24 Crew cab. Bracket fit great top bold threads fine, bottom two will not, I believe too much paint on the thread. Any advice would be appreciated, don't want to strip or cross thread bolt. Thanks in advance.... The mounting bolts, nuts, washers etc.... are M8.

You can read through the posts. I found a small wire wheel on my drill worked best to take the paint off the studs.

Use a socket wrench to screw it on each of those painted bolts and then screw it off. It will be free of paint and you can literally finger spin those nuts after that. Make sure to use some blue loctite on the bolts when installing afterwards, it's only like 15 ft-lbs of recommended torque on those bolts.

I was checking the status of my CRS!
Directions give + - also.
4 sets of running boards. I have swapped out running boards several times, remembered the 14, forgot the +-.
1 ebay (crap), 2 OEM used sets (good deals), 1 black Friday or something like that also OEM and good deal.

The running boards don't seem to come up for sale that much anymore. One I purchased from the forum and the other from craigslist.
