FCW "warning only" sound

Any of you able to describe the sound that is made when FCW is set to just warn and not actually brake?
I'm trying to figure out if that is what I experienced or not (it was a quick burst of 3 loud beeps and something flashed on my display, but too quickly for me to catch it as it made me jump and my heart skip a beat).

Thanks. It might have, but all I saw was a flash of red color but didn't look quick enough to see what it was.

yea that's it. Three loud beeps and red center cluster. It scares me when it goes off. I'll be watching traffic coming to a stop and i know I won't need to brake but it'll still go off sometimes.

I haven’t seen it say brake yet, may be it’s a good thing. Does anyone know if it’s the same one as the parking assist sound?

no its different. Its a very loud distinct alarm sound. It does what it's suppose to do. Get your attention real quick.

That sounds like it. It gets the heart racing even when you know you're good.

Ha, ok so I have never heard it. Wondering if it’s even working. I have it set to “far” setting in Uconnect. May be I should be little more aggressive driver
