Quick summary here. In May, I took my truck to the dealer to get an alignment after installing the Bilstein 5100s. While there, the dealer "good will" replaced my driver side axle because the CV boot was ripped. My 3 year warranty expired in December, so I was already out of warranty for 6 months at this point.
They aligned my truck 7 times for whatever reason. The wheel was off center, the truck pulled right, there was rubbing on the mudflap, etc. When I went to pick up my truck, the Forward Collision Light was on and I couldn't adjust anything. I mentioned it to a salesman because service was already closed, but he's no longer there.
The dealer told me that Stellantis is no longer honoring "good will" repairs, and some on this board have said differently, but I can't force the dealer to fix this issue under good will if they believe differently.
Reading multiple threads via Google search links associated with FCW+, I saw a couple things that have me questioning if the dealer caused this. I saw someone say they had the FCW warning after the dealer replaced the hub bearing assembly. No explanation as to why though. Another person said theirs was repaired when the dealer found an issue with one of the ABS sensors, since FCW deals with the braking system. Lastly, a third post mentioned that they had the issue after the LCA was replaced.
This weekend, I found my driver's side LCA bolt loose. I had a creaking front end since I did the lift, so I started looking for something loose and found the LCA bolt loose. I tightened it and the creaking is gone, but I never removed the LCA. Did the dealer remove the LCA to replace the axle? Did they potentially cause damage to the ABS sensor? Could it be something else near where they did the work? I drove the truck for a week after the lift without issues. The FCW light was on after they worked in it. They want to change me hundreds to diagnose and repair. I don't want to pay for something I don't use.
Advice? Suggestions? Is it possible they caused this?
