I've seen a few stories on here about it, but no threads. I searched high and low for a longhorn with a 6-4, saddle/black interior, black or Delmonico, etc. We ended up finding one on Friday from a dealer out of state and it was to be delivered on Saturday. Got a text from my salesman Monday morning that just said 'call me, it's not good.' The factory tri fold tonneau flew off during transport. Ripped both bedrails, scratched both bedsides, dented the tailgate, and dented the cab.
With that being said, ANYONE WHO HAS A FACTORY TRI FOLD TONNEAU COVER CHECK THE FRONT MOUNTS. I would hate to see this happen to anyone after they take ownership of their truck.
Luckily, my salesman was a great guy and located another truck. Not black or Delmonico, but rugged brown with the tan bottom. And is throwing in a nice bottle of angels envy bourbon for my hassles.
