Hello,
Got a weird one.
2021 RAM Rebel 5.7 4x4, full tech package, trailer steering, air suspension and all that stuff.
When using the factory remote start, I get three errors that come up:
Error 1: Service Electronic Stability Control
Error 2: Trailer Steering Unavailable
Error 3: Service Trailer Brake System
This only happens when I use remote start, and the errors will go away if I turn off the engine and just start it without remote start. No errors pop up when not using remote start. No check engine light or error codes detected.
Troubleshooting:
Changed the battery
Checked fuses, I have not found a blown one. Made sure they are all seated tight. Engine bay and also under the steering wheel.
Disconnected battery and left it for 30min, reconnected. Same results.
