Yes, if you load it properly and have proper tongue weight. Depending on size a good WDH would be better

yea I've bought the trailer and wdh I'm trying to make sure the factory installed receiver is up to a 7500 gvwr trailer or does it also need upgrade

It should be (on your truck) class IV hitch so it can easily handle normal sized travel trailer.

Check your hitch, mine came with a class 3 hitch, had to have dealer install a class 4.

I dug up my window sticker and it says class IV

Make sure your truck has enough payload to handle your tongue weight too.
