My son has a 2019 RAM 1500 and explained that there was an extremely loud noise (Max Vol) through his speakers. So loud that he had to pull over and was unable to drive. I experienced it when he got home but was able to mute it or turn the radio off to stop it. It happened again to him but he was unable to mute it and it continued even with radio off. He was leaving to go back to school which is a three hour drive. I pulled the fuse for the radio which resides under the dash on the driver side hoping this would fix it til we got it to the dealer. Rather his drive be in silence than have his ear drums blown out for three hours. He started his truck as he loaded up and it happened again. He took my wifes car back to school as I tried trouble shooting this issue. A coworker mentioned pulling the fuse that controls the amplifier to the radio. Well that was the ticket. The fuse is the F12 (25A) fuse which controls Mod Audio Amplifier / Active Noise Cancellation / SW Inverter. It got rid of the obnoxious loud noise but there's no audio and I'm not sure what else is now eliminated. Has anyone ever experienced this before?

it sounds like the anc module went bad. is it the base radio?
