Extra lock?

Found this in my glove box. No part #

Anyone know what this is? Extra for the ram box maybe? Or door? I guess they’re keyed the same so maybe either? Don’t think I’ve received a spare lock with a vehicle before.

I did. The key fits, but doesn’t seem to turn it, but it’s also hard to tell as the lock isn’t set in anything, I’m just holding it freely.

I’m going to the dealer to get my ram box fixed next Wednesday. I’ll ask them about it.

Should be a lock for the in-floor storage boxes.
