Extended Warranty other than MOPAR

Hello folks,

I bought my 2019 Rebel used and purchased an aftermarket warranty at the dealership I purchased the truck from. Well that warranty has run out (mileage) and I’m looking to get another warranty. Truck has just about 100,000 miles on it so I can’t get a MOPAR warranty. Let me know what experience y’all have with some other companies good or bad. Thanks in advance!!

Start with where you take your truck for repairs, and ask if they take any of the extended warranty companies. Then ask what they do not take and why you will learn a lot of valuable information quickly. There are many shops that will not deal with extended warranty companies, so you pay out of pocket for work done and then have to fight with the warranty company for reimbursement. There are several companies that advertise heavily on the radio/TV that the, 3 shops I use do not accept those big-name companies at all.

I have an extended warranty that I purchased for my NUSED truck, but I have learned this lesson, so I will pass the lesson on to others so as not to propagate myths and empty wallet syndromes.

I do not think I will invest in an aftermarket warranty in the future. I will/do focus on the maintenance schedule and try to abide by the maintenance schedule at a minimum.
