What do you guys think the best way to paint the chrome exhaust tips would be? Looking to make them matte black. This is on the Magnaflow catback tips (not OEM).

Powder coating wont work since it can’t withstand the heat the shop told me

Chrome is notoriously a pain in the *** to paint. Your best bet might be to etch the hell out of the chrome or prep it by sanding it, and using some high temp matte black spray paint that's for engines or grills. I used this Rustoleum on a BBQ smoker and it did great, but I've never used it on chrome.

You should use an enamel paint such as VHT Enamel Paint which is designed to withstand high temperatures. 🔥
