My 2021 Ram 1500 E-Torque suddenly had a loud exhaust noise. I didn't hit or run over anything. Checked the muffler and exhaust and found no leaks. I took it to the dealer since I have 56,000 miles and also the extended warranty through the dealer. Dealer called to say the exhaust manifold was leaking due to a bad gasket caused by 2 broken bolts. There has been no damage done to the exhaust by me and the dealer let me know that the gasket was covered but it cost me $200 for the bolt replacement! Ridiculous that the bolts are not covered.

Do a search and you will see this is a common issue.

I had a exhaust leak when cold, My dealer replaced both manifolds, gaskets and all bolts with zero cost to me. This was done at 59,500 miles
