exhaust bolts broken

just wondering how many have had broken exhaust manifold bolts ? 23k miles had 2 broken bolts on the exhaust manifold. same thing happened to my 2012 at 50 k

I certainly have had very good luck with my 2012 Ram (166,000 miles). I had broken exhaust bolts at 80,000. Are they covered by Ram for a while? Thanks

I had a few break off on my 2014 around 60k miles and the dealership covered it under the powertrain warranty no questions asked. I fully expect it to eventually happen on this truck as well but 23k miles seems a little premature

What did the noise sound like when your 2 bolts were broken...? Might be the same thing happening to mine. I have 30k miles

It can be confused with the hemi tick because it sounds similar. The ticking sound is usually more pronounced on cold start then slowly goes away as the headers and manifold heat up. Keep us posted, either way at 30k miles it will be covered under bumper to bumper warranty.

as Jeff stated loud ticking on start up, then quites down. also blew the gasket kinda sounded like an old chevy lol
