Hi, I have a Ram 1500 2019 and when driving smoothly at low engine speeds it snaps, according to the information I found on the forums is a bad generator.

I am a car mechanic and I ordered a new one and my question is does anyone know the exchange procedure? or how to do it?

Sorry I can't be of more help as I don't know the procedure.
But when I first got mine it felt jerky at slow speeds, I took it into the dealership and they updated the transmission and engine computers and its been smooth as silk ever since.

hi thanks for the response, I have been updating the computers for about 2 months. local Ram offices are constantly solving problems with online connections to Ram servers, so hopefully something will change after the new year and the computers will be updated. Thanks
