I have a 2019 6.4L 2500 extended cab with an 8' bed with the standard coil suspension. My previous truck was a 2003 with the same set-up except it had rear leaf springs and a Cummins engine. My current truck is definitely smoother riding due to the coils compared to the old truck. However, on rough road (pavement and gravel), there seems to be excessive suspension bounce that fails to keep the tires on the road. It almost acts like when your shocks are shot on all four corners of the truck. At times, it forces me to take corrective steering action to keep it in the lane.
I seriously doubt that a year of highway driving would cause all four shocks to be bad. Has anyone else had this experience and, if so, what was the correction? The dealer says that the truck drives within specs.
