I tow a boat trailer with surge brakes. I know that the EVIC trailer tow page only counts miles when towing something with a load on the electric brakes pin on the 7 way connector. Has anyone done something on the trailer side like wiring a resistor or something on the brake pin of the 7 way? Thinking I could do this and keep the gain on brake controller all the way down. I just want to be able to track towing mileage on that page. Thanks in advance
