So I have an annoying whine I can hear inside the cab on my 2020 RAM Longhorn. I had it diagnosed as the MGU, but I wanted to try changing this rough looking hydraulic tensioner first before dealing with the dealership again. I have a detailed OEM service manual, but I wanted to see if anyone has changed this out. I've read that it is extremely stiff and hard to get the belt off of. Any tips or things I should watch out for, or is this a very essy job?

If you have the detailed service manual, it won't be a problem. It's not complicated, there is definitely a lot of tension on the belt. Long 1/2" breaker bar or ratchet helps.
