Have a 2021 Ram 1500 Bighorn with Etorq. Trying to find out if the 48v generator has enough output to charge 2 lithium 100ah batteries without harm to the generator. I know there's a onboard dc to dc charger to convert to 12v for the stock battery . I just don't know if if it will stress the generator.

Changing the capacity for storage will not effect the etorq at all. Its output capacity is what it is. The problem would be that there is no safety to regulate the voltage to individual loads. If you have one battery that is slightly lower resistance (ie hungry) it would cycle much harder than the others, possibly even drawing from both etorq and the 'good' battery. This could over heat any of the batteries. You would need to have completely redundant battery conditioner circuits for each that would electronically make it one load and precisely match voltage. So I think the etorq would be fine, but you run a very good chance of destroying $1000 batteries 🤔
