Hi all,

I had my check engine light come on, and a P0330 code pop up. It looks like it has something to do with the knock sensor. Has anyone had experience fixing this? If not, has anyone had it replaced and remember what they paid? I assume this isn't covered by the powertrain warranty. Thanks!

That's a knock sensor code, and it's set when it doesn't see anything, meaning open or short or bad circuit inside the ecu. When I was wrenching full time at Toyota, every time I saw that code it was wire damage from mice. The sensors are on the side of the block on ours, so that seems less likely, but still worth a look. Maybe lift the front end a little so you can look in over the tires. This is the best image I can find in the manual. 1687140832076.png

Thanks Richard. I am assuming there are two correct? Are they easy to replace? I appreciate the help! Hopefully I can see them haha. Thanks again!
