Ergonomic modifications - steering wheel extender?

Hello everyone,

My name is Ed, I work for a company called 949 Racing. We had a Ram 3500HD for towing that we loved, but didn't like the ergos of the steering wheel - it seemed much too far away, especially for our long-legged drivers. So we started developing a steering wheel extension that can be installed between the OEM steering column and the steering wheel to bring it a couple inches closer. We have completed the 4th gen design and it's out in the wild, but now we need to test fit our 5th gen design (2019+).

We are looking for someone local to southern california that might be interested in letting us test fit the unit on their truck. In exchange, they receive a discount and free installation.

We are in south Orange County, near Irvine. Let us know if you're interested and we'll see if we can set something up!

Hey Ed, I know this is over a year late but did you ever complete fitment for the 5th gen HD trucks? I've got a '24 power wagon that I'd like to extend the steering wheel on.

You do realize the steering wheel is telescopic from the factory. And, depending on trim and options there are electric adjustable pedals.

The 2500 line for at least 2024 even optioned with all the packages do not have telescoping steering wheels.

This is a 1500 group, and the HD Rams aren't true 5th gens as they still use 4th gen cab and dash
