Does anyone think Stellantis Ram will put a 392 option in the Ram 1500 option?
New CEO and watching YouTube it appears it maybe happening!

That would be sweet. I’d probably splurge and buy it.
Only reason I haven’t bought a 2025 is because I don’t want to give up my hemi. Not hearing great things about the hurricane and it sounds like sh!t.

I cannot disagree with you on the sound. My mother's SINGER sounded better when she put her foot into it. In my opinion, the power of the SST HO is superior to the 5.7 Hemi. For the first time this afternoon, I put my foot into it, and the turbos kicked in...sheesh it can pick up and go when they spin up.

i don't see why they would, given that 392 is in the HD line up as 6.4
that is redundancy in product classification and doesn't really make sense.

if you want a 392 just get a HD truck. the current 4.5 gen (not 5th gen, but 4.5 gen) is quite close to DT anyways, with the interior and stuff and has a longer bed.

The 6.4 in the HD Rams isn't the same as the 392 used in the cars. That's like saying the old V10 Rams had the same engine as the vipers.

The 6.4 comes in two variants, the BGE in the 2500 at 410 hp, and the SRT in the cars/jeep/dodge at 485 hp. The SRT would be an instant hit if they can keep the price reasonable (ie, available in tradesman and bighorn trims where you just need to pay for the engine upgrade and not the ridiculous waste that comes with upper trims like how you need to bankrupt yourself to get the HO hurricane).

To me, power isn’t everything. Reliability and familiarity are much more important to me.
I’ve had hemis for 10+ years now and never had any major issues.

Obviously I don’t like change and the TT setup isn’t for me.
