Engine Compartment Light. Am I supposed to have one?

This may be a dumb question but I have to ask. I was switching all of my interior lights to LEDs over the weekend with a pack of lights that came with everything I needed including the engine compartment. I went to the engine compartment and didn’t see a light anywhere. I think I located a place that I light is supposed to be but there is nothing there. Do you guys have a light in your engine compartment? If so, where? You’d think when spends $40K+ on a vehicle they would put in common things like this.

No engine bay light. I know some on the forum have put one in.
