Electronics exposed under driver door?

Anyone know what these parts are and why they seem so exposed? The left one is plastic and says Delphi on it. 2021 Ram 1500 DT Laramie.

The one on the left is a body connector and the one on the right is the anti-vibration system. I forget what they call them.

It's waterproof and has a protective shield on the bottom.

Wow. I hadn't realized these trucks had active vibration dampening. That's pretty advanced for a pickup truck.

It's primarily for MDS operation, when the truck goes into 4-cylinder mode. That along with the giant drum sized muffler is supposed to help with drone reduction in MDS mode.
