Electric vacuum pump continuing to cycle after vehicle turned off draining battery

I have a 2019 ram 1500 rebel. I’ve not had issues with it in the past however starting two days ago, the electric vacuum pump Started running after the vehicle was off and continuing to cycle until the battery was dead. I know it is this because after turning the vehicle off and popping the hood, you could hear it and feel it running and cycling, and the top of the pump was extremely hot for burning so much I found a couple other threads with his topic, but no answers on what the issue was and how to fix it not sure if there is a relay somewhere in the system that I can replace I’m not able to find any information on the Internet
