I see a lot of threads about catch cans (oil separators) in the Hemi forums. I get it. (Son had an '07.)

However, I'm not seeing any threads about running them in an EcoDiesel. There are a few youtube videos about guys running them in ecodiesels (gen 1 and gen 2), but most focus on how the catch can causes a check engine light to come on.

Anyone here running one? Did you have to modify the install? How much oil are you getting? Etc?

I'm thinking of doing it, but don't want to drop mishimoto money if there are issues are no real benefit.

Thanks,
Ken

In my opinion they are a gimmick and cause my problems than they "solve"
On a diesel with EGR I don't think you're preventing anything since the high speed EGR is dumping exhaust back into the intake (I believe the low speed is after the DPF)
