I turned it onThe default setting is ECO light off, even if it is actually functioning. It's one of the settings in UConnect.
Then try setting the cruise control to 55mph/ 88 kmh on a flat road and see what happens. If you drive above above 100 kmh frequently, you probably will never see the ECO light come on.I turned it on
I try but no light comes (eco)The wheels and tires on a RAM Rebel is actually 1" larger and heavier than the 22" package trucks, and my Eco light comes on all the time.
Re-verify that you turned it on, and it should come on when light cruising on both street and highway. My light comes on from as high as 70 mph all the way down to about 10 mph. I have an aftermarket muffler, I can tell easily when my truck goes in MDS, matches with the Eco light.
Are you using tow/haul mode or the gear limiter? Either of those disable MDS
Which viscosity oil are you using? People have reported that thicker oil will prevent MDS from engaging
Prob because gas is cheaper than water over there...His location says Kuwait...I believe the over seas sales of Rams do not have this for some reason. I seem to remember reading that somewhere.
Not as eco but as MDS on the engine description i.e. ”Engine: 5.7–Liter V8 HEMI® MDS VVT Engine “.Is the fuel saving feature (eco) recorded and mentioned in window Equipment Listing?
