Hey guyz, I own 20’ 1500 bighorn modnight edition. My fan kicks in at 107-108C, brings it down to 99-101C and does the same thing over and over while idling, but I get an engine check light when this happening, ive checked it with my OBD, and the code is P1D73 “AGS(active grill shutter) performance”. This started after ive recently hit the deer on highway and replaced the front bumper with lower radiator support, grille and grille shutter. I have installed the aftermarket grille shutter, which i bought without the actuator, as my actuator survived and didnt have any damage so i have used it with the aftermarket grille shutter. When the check light started to pop up i have erased it couple times, then I tried to unplug the actuator and plug it back, erase the code, reset the actuator with OBD take the active test of the shutter and so on. Didnt help, same was happening, although the shutter seems to be working, it opens and shuts, while even idling it was open and the temp was 108C and check light still came up. Today ive got another actuator locally from used car guy, installed it and when the temp reached 109C and went down after fan kicked in I’ve got the same check light again. I dont think its anything wrong with the grille shutter and i did change thermostat like a month ago so its new and its mopar. I just changed it for no reason when i replaced my starter as well and it was working properly with no codes before i hit the deer. Its driving me crazy, and if theres anyone can help me with this I’d really appreciate it. Please see the attached pictures. Id also wanna hear if it might be related with CAN C BUS(have no knowledge towards it) coz sometimes and very rarely i get the code related to parktronic and it says can c bus is off performance. Ill attach the pic of it as well which ive seen today. Thanks in advance.
