Driver's side armrest too narrow/short for tall folks?

Actually test drove 3 various trucks and found the Ram's driver side armrest on the door to be the shortest and most narrow of the trucks tested.
Being a bit tall, the driver's seat is back which has my left arm hitting the door jam instead of the end of the armrest in other trucks.
Also the armrest on the door seems too narrow.
Anyone else tall and find the driver's side armrest not as natural as others?
If so, how did you work around it?

I'm 6`3 have no issues with the arm rest.

I'm 6'-5" and 56" chest. Can't say that my arm has rested on the door side armrest in any of my trucks whether GM or RAM. The left arm is always on the wheel so elbow is resting on top of door panel. It's my right arm that lounges on the console.
