I’ve had 2022 Limited for the last few months, bought used. It’s been a fantastic vehicle, but I’ve finally taken it on a long trip for the first time (>2 hours). After an hour or so without using cruise control my right knee and hip was killing me. Putting the seat all the way back and pedals as far away as they can go helps, but then the steering wheel is too far away even with it pulled out as far as it can go.

I’ve seen a few other posts where people have had trouble getting comfortable. I know it’s a long shot, but has anyone found a solution or modification that has helped them?

How tall are you? I'm 6' and this is the most comfortable vehicle I've ever driven. Multiple 17 hour straight through drives with no issues.

6'3" here and i can't say i've had any issues with leg space, my main complaint has always been about the center rear view mirror being set too low and blocking part of my vision

I’m not tall (5’9”), but I’ve seen multiple posts about these seat jackers and thought I’d try them out. I love them. They raise the front of the seat so you can have better support in the leg area. It really makes the seat cradle you and it’s much more comfortable.

I'm 6'8, my biggest complaint with Ram trucks is the lack of front seat leg room. Ford, GM, and Toyota have more as I've tried them all.

I’m 5’11” with a 34” inseam. I’ve had this problem with a Crown Vic too, which I bought new and drove for years without a problem until this started happening. At the time I was doing multiple 6-hour trips with it per year. I replaced it with 2nd-gen Charger (the 4-door ones) which didn’t cause me this pain.

I didn’t need a car for the last 10 years, but need one now, which is when I got the RAM. Unfortunately, in those ten years I forgot about this little problem until this past weekend.

I tend to sit low with my legs extended and steering wheel relatively close. When I put the RAM’s seat all the way back and recline it at a reasonable angle, my fingers can rest on the top of the wheel, but not the heel of my palm.

Why not use cruise control?
That might be part of it. I had a car with adaptive cruise and never had a problem with it. The RAM doesn’t, and regular cruise is sometimes impossible in heavily (or even lightly) congested areas. Therefore I was mostly using the gas and brake for the trip I just did.

It’s something I didn’t notice until recently, but I do now and I’m not nearly as tall. I see what you mean, though. All the information I can find shows RAM with the least, in some cases a lot less.
