Driver Heated Seat does not come on with Remote or all All Starts

I have a 2022 Ram 1500 Bighorn. The problem I am having is that when I start the truck in under 40 degree temps, the driver heated seat does not come on while all the other functions do. What I discovered in going into the UConnect where it shows the heated seat icon selections, if I press the driver one it turns on the passenger seat, and if I hit the passenger seat it turns on the driver seat. The actual hard heated seat buttons work correctly. I believe this may be the reason for the driver seat not coming on with starting the truck. Any idea why this may be or if there is a setting in the BCM that I would need to change to correct this? I have the alphaobd app. I also just replaced the battery recently. Any help or suggestions would be great. Thank you.

I only saw drivers seat? But I noticed it did not come on the other morning. In the 40s. I think it has to be under a lower outside tempt to activate that. we do have different years. I d look I up in the manual if yo can.

I looked mine up and it s little different. I only have drivers side/wheel function and it has to be under 40 degrees. there are some other options too but it s a little confusing. I read thru that before you look into the truck Mal functioning.

Thanks, I have the drivers side but it does not come on. The steering wheel and defrosters do when under 40. My biggest issue to start with is in the UConnect the icons to operate the heated seats are reversed. If I choose the driver seat the passenger side lights up and vice versa. The hard buttons for the heated seats work correctly. Trying to see how I can first fix (address} this issue to see if it is causing the driver seat not to come on with remote start or all starts. Was not able to see any setting to fix this in the BCM using alpha obd.

Just wanted to let you know I was able to figure out issue. In the BCM, the Driver seat location was not checked. Once I selected left side, the UConnect now shows correctly and the driver heated seat comes on with remote start.

Good find!

It sucks that we have to go into the control modules and fix such trivial manufacturing mistakes but I'm very thankful that such tools exist because it would suck even worse if we had to rely on dealerships to chase down and fix every little thing.
