Got my truck back from dealer service yesterday for a replacement driver seat cover and door alignment of the R/R passenger door which looks to be not level with the body by 3/16 inch or more. Dealer says this is in speck , doors are flared out at the back for wind noise and is within Dodge speck. Then why is the L/R door perfectly lined up, one of them has to be wrong. This is absurd to believe that they are the only truck on the market with a door that sticks out for wind noise. They must think the customers are idiots and will believe this nonsense. If Ram care is monitoring , just to let you know ill be showing this door to every person who asks me about my Ram limited so they can make up there own minds about what brand has good fit and finish.

Yeah mine is the similar but mostly near the bottom corner on both rear doors.

All 4 of my doors flare out a bit at the rear of the door only about 1/16" or so and only from the belt line (First body line between the bottom of the window and top of the door handles) down. I think it is a fit and finish issue and they're just blowing smoke that its for wind noise. Mine isn't bad enough that I'm going to make adjustments and risk developing seal leaks.

My passenger door was out 1/4 inch when "closed".

At dealer getting adjusted now. Every other line on the truck is flawless.

My front passenger door is out about 1/4”. Dealer said its to help with wind noise.I’m not buying that crap!
All my other doors look flush.

Just got back from dealer....a day later and the door is perfect now. Take it in to get fixed.

I did and they said it was within the specks and would not do anything about it. My bodyshop friend said the doors are not adjustable unless you remove the hinge and elongate the holes on the door side where the studs come through. we removed the nuts on the door side of hinge and this is true. will fix ourselves this Tuesday , no time now . Somewhere else on this site a member posted the specs his dealer gave him

Mine are the same way, but mine are where the back doors meet the cab. They also sound cheap when they close, the fronts sound solid, the backs sound like they are hollow

Fixed My rear door. Removed the bottom hinge found the body side has room for alignment , up/down/fore/ aft, but the door side of the hinge didn't have clearance for ,in/out. I elongated the holes so i could bring the bottom of the door in . It is now perfect and im happy but i had to do it myself. Now if the radio update fixes my radio so it quits coming on in the AM mode every time i start instead of where i left it it will be all good, for now.

My rear/driver door sounds like that too. All the other ones are extremely silent. Almost sounds like the seat belt is rattling against the 'body' inside as I close the door. It's not enough to bother me, but I may get them to just check it later.

I took mine to a local body shop and they adjusted my doors perfectly.
Cost me $100. Much less stressful then having to deal with the service department at the dealership.
