door ajar malfunction

I just got a Limited edition truck a few months ago, and we've had some very cold weather here for the last few days (currently -43 C/-45 F). The truck seems to think that the driver side door is open. I can drive the truck fine, and am 100% sure that nothing is caught in between the door.

Has anyone run into this before?
