Does standard box affect MPG?

As the title states, does the standard box affect mpg over the short box? If so, by how much do you think?
 
Don't think that would affect it much at all. Engine choice, total weight, rear gear ratio, and 2wd/4wd will be the major factors.
 
Thank you. I’m close to pulling the trigger on a new ‘20 CC with standard box 3.21 4x4.
