This part was in my new 1500 Tungsten when I took delivery but no one knows what it is. I have the towing and off road packages. I tried reverse image search and asked a few dealers but they have no idea. I don't want to toss it but I have no idea why I need to keep it. Ha. It has a very similar profile to my towing mirrors.... but why? IMG_0898.jpegIMG_0919.jpeg

Could have been some sort of Jig they used at the factory and misplaced it in your truck.

Yep.. be it hold a part in place until fastened, or… a jig to affix a sticker, label, etc. Or a hanger for an item headed through the paint shop maybe…
That’s my guess…. You got an added bonus feature not on your sticker.
That makes it limited edition :)

Does kind of also look like maybe a gas door jig.. either way it’s not a missing item on your truck.

Ha, I like all these answers. Finally talked to a Ram part guru just now, and he said it's not a RAM part. I think y'all are probably correct that it was a factory jig/part that made a home in my truck somehow. Thanks for the input. That said, I’m still going to order a Tungsten+ badge. Don't be jealous.

That is tool Doohicky-C98239 and is useless without the support piece, Thing-a-ma-Jingy-A0004

Looks like you have a wall ornament
