Does anyone know! Does the chrome come off Laramie wheel.

Has anyone found out or confirmed if you can remove the chrome pieces from the 20" Laramie wheel, and if so what the wheel looks like with them off. I would love to remove the abs chrome pieces and just use the dark silver color that is on the rest of the wheel. I know there is other threads on the subject but there are no answers. I was just hoping someone has recently tried it. As you can see from my second picture I tried to plastidip the chrome on one wheel but ended up removing it, I wasn't particularly happy with how it looked. Thanks.
