Hello everyone,

In June our dealership diagnosed our battery pack to be bad. It’s the 48 Volt battery behind the 2nd row. Now three months later and several ETA-delays we are being told there is no ETA available because their production capacity is maxed out. I guess the new Hemi Rams get all the new batteries.

Now my question, has anyone on here replaced it themselves or knows the process? Any specific steps or programming required?

TIA!

I believe this has been asked before, but I don't think anyone has done it. I don't even think you can buy the parts yourself. Plus, it's extremely dangerous.

Your biggest issue is that it's not just a 48v battery. It's a module with an integrated 48v battery. It's likely that it's the module that fails and not the actual 48v battery inside. The only source for new 48v modules is Mopar. I think you see where this is going. Maybe you can find one in a salvage yard but you're taking your chances on a used part.
