A little context, I have a 6in BDS lift with the Fox 2.5 PE DSC front coilovers. I have upgraded to the hellwig sway bar last year and used the existing BDS replacement end links that came with the kit. I wanted to improve a bit more of the side to side motion and ordered the Core 4x4 Town series rear end links for my 6" lift back in Sept 2025. When I received them I installed them, grease them through the zerk fittings and torqued them down to 60 ftlbs. Went for a drive and enjoyed the better handling. After about a day or two, I heard rubber style squeaking from the rear. Got under the truck and had someone bounce it and could hear the bushing rubbing against the frame on both sides. So I removed the end links, added some energy suspension grease I had from my Hellwig bar on the side of the bushing that hits up against the frame and it seemed to help for a week or so. Then it came back, I removed the end links again, took apart the bushings and remove the sleeves. Greased everything up and installed it again. Everything should be good now right? but no after a month or so I could hear a rubber sort of sound in the front of my truck. I checked that everything was torqued properly, sprayed silicone spray on front bushings (UCA, LCA) replaced front sway end links and front sway bar bushings. Still could not get rid of the rubber rubbing sound. I decided to test a theory out. I had BDS send me a rebuild kit for the BDS rear end links I removed. Got the kit, rebuilt the BDS rear end links, removed the Core 4x4 rear end links and low and behold the rubber rubbing sound I was hearing from the front of the truck was gone. The Core rear end link bushings were making the sound that was traveling down the frame of the truck to the front. Crazy!! I was thinking there was maybe an issue with my LCA or UCA bushings or tie rods but nope it was the Core 4x4 End links all along. Sorry for the long post but I could not find anyone that had the same issues in any forum.
I most likely will be posting the Core 4x4 rear end links in the for sale section. Maybe someone will have better luck with them but for now I will stick with what came with the BDS kit. The Core rear end links have about 5,000 miles on them. Look new except for a small scratch on the top. Will post the link here once I have it uploaded to the for sale section.
