Disabling Sirius Guardian GPS

Hopefully this is the right place for this topic. My 2020 Ram 1500 was stolen last week (with keys). The GPS pinged once I notified Sirius XM Guardian, but then never pinged again after that. Asking two questions here:
1. Does anyone know if the drivers of the vehicle would be notified if Sirius was sending out a GPS request?
2. How difficult is it to disable the GPS?
