A small update:
I got fed up with the constant knocking/bumping/donking - or whatever the noise is - in stop and go traffic and when coming to a stop.
I brought the truck to a mechanic who works on a lot of our work vehicles and dump trucks.
He just called me and said "Its not often that I bow out of something, but I can't find a thing wrong with this truck. I can hear the noise and I'm certain its coming from somewhere in the rear end, but for the life of me I cannot find where the noise is coming from and what's causing it."
He's going to keep the truck for another day and go over it again to make sure he didn't miss anything.
If he can't find an issue, I'm not sure what I'll do next.
I'd like to trade in the truck at this point because I find this issue so annoying.
