I had a 2015 that had a after market fuel cap made out of aluminum green color.
I just got a 2019 Longhorn 3500 Diesel but the 2015 cap will not fit. There is now a plastic
green color lip (?) around the rim keeping the old cap from fitting. There is DEF fluid spilled
all over the inside of the filler compartment. Looks like the only way to keep water and DEF out of
the filler tube is to apply tape to cover the inlet tube and then remove when finished washing off
the DEF fluid. ANY IDEAS .....
