This is my first thread on this forum, so I'll try and make it count. I installed a Diamondback SE cover on my 2019 RAM 1500 Limited.
I snapped a bunch of pictures to share with anyone else who might be interested in this product.
A liftback delivery truck dropped off this pallet of parts. The bottom box contains all three panels that make up the tonneau cover.
The top box is Diamondback's "drop in" storage bin.
Here's what's in the box. Two large panels and the center pivot/hinge panel and a box of fasteners and gas struts.
The instructions are in here. Very simple stuff.
I got the front panel installed and checked the gap to the cab. As you can see, the truck bed has a slight curve in it. So you want to make sure that the weather-striping seal on the front panel is fully seated on the bed of the truck.
Next I aligned the panels to the sides of the truck. Looking for equal distance from tailgate to the cab.
Here's a shot of the front panel opened up.
...and a shot of the truck with both panels opened. Plenty of room for getting what you need out of the bed.
The truck is absolutely filthy right now. (it's a truck after all) Here's what the Diamonback SE cover looks like installed.
Overall, I think I spent two hours putting it on by myself. It would have gone quicker with a little help.
I spent most of the time adjusting the locking rods to get a good weatherproof seal all around the cover.
