Before my truck even arrived, the accessories department from the dealer reached out to me with a list asking if there was anything I'd like done before I picked it up. I inquired about a lift. He said he had one in stock and if I wanted it should jump on it as the supply chain was backed up and no certainty when he'd get more. So I agreed to have it dealer installed. I went to pick it up and finally in the finance office signing a forests worth of papers, came to one that stated any alterations to suspension or tire size voids the warranty. Finance guy added the $2695 to the invoice but said he didn't know what it was for. But no problem he said if I could afford $60 I said I could afford $60 and as he started to explain that also covering the lift I got 84,000 miles and 7 years on the warranty and I said all for $60 and he said well per month but as it turned out I financed it for 3 years and it was $118 a month to the tune of $4,280 for an extended warranty aftermarket extended warranty that would cover the lift. Shouldn't I have been informed by the accessories guy that the lift he was selling me voided the warranty and I'd need to spend $4280 more if I wanted to be warranted?
