I have a 2019 Ram Bighorn crew cab 4x4 hemi no electric backup or e torque whatever that is. Any way parked truck went to leave truck was dead. Fobs would not unlock doors tailgate would not open. Message in center said press brake push start nothing nothing. First thought dead battery. Put new battery in nothing. Maybe fobs are dead. New batteries nothing. Well read how to put in neutral pulled that lever nothing. Rear wheels locked will not roll. Had to call local dealer asked if he knew anything I could try and he had never heard of such a thing said truck needed to be there. Called a roll back they came tried everything they knew and nothing. Pulled lever to unlock tranny and nothing. Pulled my truck dragging tires onto roll back. Does anybody have any idea what the problem is? Also would manually lock doors and when I shut the door horn beeps 3 times and door unlocks.

Rear wheels are likely still locked because of the electronic parking brake. That trans lever mechanically places the trans in neutral, it doesn't need power. Did you check the terminals in the fuse box?

Yes checked all the fuses unfortunately it’s at dealership now but I thought I checked those nuts to see if one was loose but I’m not sure now. I guess we will find out

Hopefully its something simple (cheap) and they get it figured out

This happened to me before too. That's why I will never ever use the parking brake. I don't know why anybody would even use it unless it actually needed it for anything. I see no point in using it because of this issue.

Yep rears probably locked up. Uconnect menu under brakes there’s a service brake system basically allows you to disengage the parking brake allowing the caliper piston to retract if you were swapping pads etc just make sure the calipers is still attached or it’ll shoot the piston out.

Well just to update any one wanting to know what happened. Just got the call from Ram dealership and it’s the RFI unit on the back wall. Said it had gotten wet and fried it. 868.00. I have never noticed a water leak in this truck now my 2015 yes it leaded around sliding rear window when hard rain but this one never noticed. They are doing a leak test as soon as they can get the truck where it will move, I mean nothing works no stereo nothing. So just fyi

Pretty well documented on here of that failure from water leaks. The three most common leaks are the back window, 3rd brake light, and the shark fin, with the window and brake light being the most common by far. If it's the window, it was just announced recently that the warranty has been extended on 19-21 models well beyond the standard factory warranty. I don't think it will cover the RF hub replacement, but may be worth a shot at arguing if that turns out to be the source.

Well just found out the source of the leak. A plastic piece around back glass. Whole back glass has to be replaced total bill now up to 2000.00. So if you have a ram 1500 don’t do like me and park outside because it is gonna bite you in the ***. Seems to me that there have been a lot of issues with this and I am a loyal Ram owner third time, Mopar Dodge or Ram needs to step up

Yeah I had this exact same problem. Luckily for me it was covered under warranty. I think Ram needs to step up and declare this a recall.

Did you not get the extended warranty notification letter?

I just noticed the carpet is wet in my rear seating area. I only received the 3rd brake light extended warranty notice. My dealer said the headliner would be wet if it was my brake light So mine is probably the rear glass which is not covered.
Where are you seeing cracks in the plastic trim for the glass? I have 2 cracks on the inside. Do these cause leaks? I was expecting something on the outside.

Spray water on top of the window and look inside if that crack is leaking.
