Data point: August 2018 (8/18) builds still have the driver footwell clicking issue.

Test drove a 8/18 buid-date RAM Laramie today. I noticed that it had the driver-side footwell click that many people here have complained about.

Have been wanting to buy a RAM and was hopeful that they had worked out the issue on the newer trucks, but it was definitely present. Hopefully they worked it out for the Sept and Oct builds.

Just posting this as a heads-up to people looking to buy, since my impression is that dealerships haven't figured out how to fix this yet.

It's still there because I don't think they have a solid idea of what's causing it. The body/cab has to flex a specific way for this to show up. Mine does it, I just see no point in taking it in because it's a rare occassion and the dealers are giving owners a hard time in fixing it.
