Wondering what the latest version of Nav software is. I just picked up my 2019 Limited a couple weeks ago that was built in October and my subdivision which was built back in 2012 isn't showing on the map. In Google, Waze, Bing, etc... they all show correct. But this map software it doesn't.

My Map info, which you can get from Nav Settings under Map Update is:
Current Map Database: Content_NA_HM_17Q2
Navigation System Version: 9.35.2.105165

Wondering what others have.

I picked my October built Ram in early December and it has the same map version. I suspect 17Q2 indicates that it's from the second quarter 2017. It's quite out of date and don' t trust it.

I too have an October 2018 Ram with the same ancient maps and system software. For comparison, I have a 2012 Garmin (we assume that the Ram system is from Garmin, don't we?) portable system which I just updated April 25 2019 with the NA (North American) map version 2020.10; so obviously they like to name them many months in advance of their actual validity. If the ones that Ram bought are similarly numbered, then the database was likely released in early 2016 at the latest. Given FCA's lack of documentation, communication and transparency, we will never know what is going on with this navigation system. I currently have an "escalated" case to see why it isn't possible to add a favorite destination. I can actually find addresses in the Uconnect database, eventually, and if I begin navigating to them, I can force them to be saved as "recent" destinations -- but no force on earth will let me save them in Favorites. This is 2019 and this is not considered rocket science. Disgusted.

Anyone have a newer map version that 17Q4?

I got my new, custom ordered 2019 RAM 1500 with the 12" screen back in April, so it was not something that sat on the lot for a while. My map version is from fourth quarter of 2017 and my dealer told me that was the latest and a new map version would not be released until late this year at the earliest. Anyone one got a map version from 2018 or 2019 yet?

If I look for updates on the Mopar website, I get directed here: https://chryslergroup.navigation.com/home/en_US/ChryslerNA/USD

There's no option to use a 2019 model year. If you select "My year is not listed", you get taken to a page that says they have nothing for you.

Yes, I know. However that does not prove that newer map versions are not shipping in new trucks. That just could mean the website just does not have it ready for sale yet. I am not trying to buy it off another website, I am trying to verify newer map versions exist.

I have the exact same version as the OP - 17Q2. Even though you have 17Q4, that update is unavailable to me.

I love how it defaults to 70 MPH speed limit on all the back roads without any posted speed limit

Luckily this is irrelevant with Waze. :) Although the system software updates do apparently fix issues.

the built in nav sucks anyways. EVEN IF they had current maps - I'd still use googlemaps with satellite view in carplay. Push the button, it'll search the interwebs, your contacts, etc.

if there's no data service, I can go back to CoPilot with offline maps.

I was hoping I was just missing something. My 2019 Rebel is 17Q2 also. I have gotten to the point of just using it for the logging roads, and WAZE for everything else, though in my specific case, my phone is an Android, and my music is on an Ipod, and yes I know I could have it all on the Android, but I am just stubborn :) I do also like all the back roads being 55 MPH, which on some of them, if I did that, on the corner, I would probably flip a couple times sideways, and end up in the river, or off the 2000 foot cliff.

Came across this though when I picked the 2016 Ram 1500, though it looks like it is for up to 2017 model. Wonder if the issue maybe, though not sure why, is with the 12" screen. Wonder how that compares to BMW's cost.
