So this afternoon the weather warmed up here in Michigan (a balmy 34 degrees!). It had been very cold last week and is going to be very cold again next week.
So I decided it would be a good time to rinse off the road salt that was caked on my truck. Used an undercarriage washer I have (it's not high pressure) and then rinsed off the exterior (I have a hot & cold hose spigot in my garage).
Tried to start my truck about 90 minutes later and it will crank but not start. The first second or two it sounds like it wants to start, but then seems to just crank. Wondering if it is a fuel delivery issue.
The top of the engine, fuse box, battery, etc are all dry (and dirty). So I know the water didn't get up too high in the vehicle.
Tomorrow during the daylight I'm going to jack it up and see if I can see what the water may have gotten into.
Any ideas of things to check?
