Hey everyone, just wanted to share with you my phone mount setup in case anyone is interested in doing something similar. I've always liked using a PopSocket on my phones, but hated how bulky they were and the fact that I couldn't use MagSafe wireless charging with them. So, I recently bought the Snap 3 Pro phone grip for my phone which is an iPhone 12 Pro. My wife has the same grip on her iPhone 14 Pro Max.

This grip is super thin, works like a PopSocket, but with a better kickstand. And it allows MagSafe charging through the grip. It also works on other Android phones with wireless charging too.

I bought my Ram about a month ago and wanted to find a phone mount that would allow me to just "pop" my phone on the mount and have it hold securely and wireless charge at the same time. After researching, I decided on the Course Motorsports Direct Fit Phone Mount with the MagSafe mount. Item# CM2.90042L.88

Lastly, my Ram is 2021 1500 Laramie with wired Apple CarPlay and I wanted it to be wireless, so I bought this Carlinkit kit to make that happen.

This all works flawlessly together. I have the CarPlay adapter plugged into the port by my right knee and velcroed behind the stereo so it's out of sight. The cords for the wireless charging go behind the stereo and come up near the DC plug up top and plug in there. The MagSafe connection is very strong with the Course MS pad going through the Snap 3 Pro grip and charges fast.

Hope this helps anyone else looking to do something similar.

I use the Course Motorsports wireless cradle. They have nice products

Thanks for this. I have had my 2021 Limited for 2 weeks and have not been able to find a decent solution until now. I ordered the magsafe charger for both driver and passenger sides.

So do you notice any movement in the mount when you try and remove your phone from the magnet? I just installed the mount and when I try and remove the phone, the mount shifts.
