Muffler delete isn’t a whole lot better.

Stainless Works has a mid-pipe and cat back setup that is very pricy for both, but sounds pretty good if you have the means to get them, at least according to their video.

That actually doesn’t sound too bad. Little rasp at the shift points is pretty nice. Don’t think any company can do much better than this. Pretty hard to compare to a V8. The straight 6 Hurricane will never sound like a Hemi.

True, so very true. I have a Borla on my 2020 with the 5.7 Hemi, and I get a lot of compliments. It is a little loud when I pull out of the subdivision at 4:30 am, but I do not care.

I mean most of the BMWs and GTRs I've heard with their inline twin turbos sound pretty awesome, but then do you want a loud, crackle tune sound coming from your big truck?

Though if I had a hurricane, I'd probably do that, try to make it sound like an F80, probably do something with a blow-off valve sound like I did on my F150 2.7L Ecoboost.

This is actually exactly what I'm after. I loved my Hemi with the flowmaster outlaw exhaust but I'm also a big BMW fan and love the I6 sound with an aggressive exhaust. I'm considering the magnaflow direct fit performance kit but it's so difficult to judge from an online sound clip. I know some guys will hate and sh@t all over this but my new SO Hurricane hands down outperforms my tuned /modified Hemi I traded in.

so your saying that a standard hurricane out performs a modified hemi? i find that had to accept but i guess that depends on the mods. a tune, cold air intake and cat back wont get you there. but a procharger will.......

What im saying is i had a 2020 Ram Rebel with flow master outlaw exhaust, Vera ram intake and the pulsar tuner. My new 2025 outperformed that with no mods. It’s even better now. Take that for what you will but that’s what I’m comparing. I’m a muscle car guy and totally get the nostalgia and romance of the V8 but it is what it is. My current set up is fast and fun to drive in the sport 4W auto mode. Am I saying it’s TRX fast? Of course not. Is it quicker off the line and passing on the highway than the 5.7 I just drove for 5 years? It absolutely is and I still have the JB4 to add.

Total agree and the rebel on the street is just as fast rho. In the new line up the rebel is the hidden gem .

Smoke effect lol my truck does same thing warm or cold always wondered if i was the only one. Only on first start of the day.
I'm pretty sure it is a bit of oil blow-by that burns off on start-up. My 2020 5.7 did it, but I have not seen my 2025 IL6 do it yet. Rams are known for it. And, in the sound clip showing exhaust in cold weather, it was just a cool 😎 effect.

That was just first start up with the new exhaust system installed. Just burn off from the pipes.
